BIOGRAPHY
Vincent Pryce / Nkoye Zifah
Hailing from the Caribbean Island of Antigua, Vincent Aldin Pryce ( his government name) a.k.a Nkoye ZIfah refers to himself as just another little boy from “Bobbie Alley “ in the Point Community . A graduate of the Antigua Grammar School , Nkoye speaks humbly about his early life and upbringing which is captured in most of his art pieces . speaking about the many aspects of life that concern us: love, family , religion, politics, local , regional and international affairs, which he translates so well through his multimedia visual art , Bodyart & photography.
He has worked and collaborated with the likes of NY Times published Artist Paul Gerben & Guava de Artist, one of Antigua’s top visual artists . Vincent has been teaching / working / collaborating with The P.A.T.H organization a nonprofit in The USA since 2012. Where he began teaching at the Hope Institute here in Antigua to impart knowledge to the youth on Island during their summer residency program .
More recently in August 2019 he traveled to Miami as a member of the United States Alumni Association Of Antigua and Barbuda , a cultural exchange program spearheaded by the US State Department, Partners of the Americas and the US Embassy in Bridgetown, Barbados where he engaged with the inner city youth by helping to create various visual art pieces / murals / musical & theatrical presentations etc . Vincent also created the official logo of this same Exchange Alumni in the same year .
Recently Director of Culture Mr. Khan Cordice highlighted him as one of Antigua’s most diverse / multi talented artists. In commemoration of this accolade he donated a 24 x 36 “ acrylic painting on canvas to the ministry of culture entitled “ Madras Dadli “ which is currently on display at The House Of Culture in Antigua.
Nkoye is currently one of the Art teachers at Island Academy international in Antigua, the next chapter he is now embarking on is opening his multimedia studio here on the island where he will still offer private visual art classes to all ages , while offering additional body art & creative photography services to the general public.
